SECTION 1 — INTRODUCTION

Special Operation Warfare (SOW) is a gaming community built on teamwork, respect, skill, and growth. To reflect a member’s journey, dedication, and contribution to the community, Special Operation Warfare operates a structured military-grade rank system that recognizes both time invested and value provided.

This document outlines every rank within the Special Operation Warfare community — from the newest recruit to the founding leadership — including the titles, responsibilities, requirements, and privileges associated with each rank.

All members of Special Operation Warfare are expected to be familiar with this rank structure and to conduct themselves in a manner befitting their rank at all times.

SECTION 2 — OVERVIEW OF THE RANK SYSTEM

The Special Operation Warfare rank system is divided into two primary categories:

A. Member Ranks (Enlisted)
These are community-wide ranks available to all standard members of Special Operation Warfare. Modeled after military enlisted grades, they represent a member’s progression through the community based on activity, conduct, and contribution.

B. Staff Ranks (Officer & Warrant Officer)
These are appointed leadership positions within Special Operation Warfare. Modeled after military officer grades, staff ranks are not earned through standard progression — they are granted by senior leadership based on trust, skill, dedication, and the needs of the community.

C. Special & Honorary Titles

All ranks are tracked and maintained by Special Operation Warfare administrative team. Rank records are reviewed on a monthly basis.
